Discriminate.

How is it that in an era where information has become so easily accessible, there can be such ignorance?

I'm tired of it. I'm sick of reading about people blindly accusing homosexuals of "making such choices in their sexuality" because if you haven't noticed, it's not exactly a matter of choosing your orientation.

Ever heard of mental illness? Down syndrome? Perhaps even your own skin colour? There are things you can't control, and homosexuality is one of them. Some people have been born that way, and is that any reason to condemn them for it? It's practically the same as stamping anyone with any sort of birth defect with the label of "OUTCAST".

Yes, I know. I can see all the angry, self-righteous homophobic people screaming and claiming how it was all a matter of choosing whether you wanted to love someone who was the same sex as yourself. Please. What has a gay person ever done to you? There are people who you'd never expected to be gay. People you've eaten with, talked to, laughed with, cried with, celebrated with, worked with. They're gay and you can still hold a decent conversation with them, you can still interact with them and you won't freaking die from any sort of contact. And what, the moment you find out they do not lean towards the opposite sex you completely cut off ties with them. Seriously. What on earth?

Unnatural? What the hell is so unnatural about loving someone? You're both the same sex. So what? That does not immediately mean that something terribly wrong is going to happen the moment you even touch each other. The world is not going to self-destruct. There will be no floods or earthquakes or apocalypses.

I've had enough of this. There's been too much hatred, stereotypes and crap. There's been too much ignorance and too little understanding.

Please. That's enough already.

Repeal 377A.

Stop the discrimination.

Imagine if you were the only staight person in a gay world. You're thirteen and in every book, every movie, every poster, every advertisement, every fucking place you go, every single couple is gay. And you believe in a god who has condemned anyone who isn't gay. But you can't stop loving the boy next door. Ridiculous isn't it? Inisde yourself you are screaming, "What the fuck hell is wrong with that?" But you can't tell anyone.
