Too many Quandos.
I admit that this rant of sorts is completely random and makes little sense, but I personally cannot understand just why the female singer (I don't exactly know her identity) in Michael Buble's Quando Quando Quando absolutely has to repeat after his every line of lyrics. I mean, honestly! We can hear the man just fine, thank you very much!
Geez.
On a separate note, I've realized my failure to mention an outing with Jing exactly one week ago, where we ambled along to Concourse to find non-existent cloth. Upon discovering its smirking absence, we tramped over confuzzledly to Bras Basah (took awhile, I'll say, especially after I realized that we missed the DHL balloon). We didn't find the cloth in the end, but it was quite an interesting experience, considering how the taxis always seemed to stop at the other side across from us.
And of course, my fantastic day with Lorro, in which the absolute highlight was coming across cosplayers. In the flesh! All dressed and prettied up! After getting past the initial shock and amazement, we found ourselves running back up the escalator to see if darling little Edward from Fullmetal Alchemist was wearing gloves (yes, we were quite fangirl-ish and ZOMG-like). Well, he was. And Lorro dear, of course, wanted a photo of all of them (Ed, Soi Fong, some pilot from Gundam and strange schoolgirl), and after a bit of embarrassed tussling and asking, we got a nice lady to take it. Of course we still don't really know if Ed was a girl or a guy (the name we heard he/she was given was Yuki, which is unisex in Japanese and does not help). But he was flat-chested!
We did watch Shrek 3, but it wasn't much to scream about, and the rest of the day was pretty much uneventful, besides our DDR mania and pleasant stroll through the Sky Gardens.
Well, there you go. A peek into my life, as uneventful as it may be, to satisfy your kaypoh-ness.
And Eng Hong:
Hey, Hon. Hang in there, you hear? Once you get this entire shizazz out of your life, you can relax. Even if you can't get the little fragments out, it's okay. I'll still be here for you, to listen to you rant and complain, and all for free! 8D Don't worry, we'll all keep you sane. And at the end of it, you can throw the darts at the picture (ahem ahem) and laugh at it. 8DDDD
